Surely they will not sell the first six storeys? Who would want to buy knowing that another 11 storeys may be added in, maye, 10 years' time?

And will they be allowed to leave the site in its current, half-built condition?

i presume they allowed to leave it half built, as long as its not a health and safety risk,

as for the flats, i suppose its a smart move

And how will this differ from a regular Bellway development?

There is an absolutely huge oversupply of flats in that area, which was quite good news for somebody I know recently. She sold her house a few months ago for £350k and decided to move into a rented flat in Cardiff Bay. The landlord was desperate to get somebody in there and she was able to negotiate something like a 40% discount on the rent. The interest on her money in the bank could pay the rent several times over. And now she can look out from her balcony and see a permanently half built block of flats. Just like being on holiday!! How lucky could anybody be?

The HA tenants will be arriving next week I expect, but they'll need to bring their own cardboard to sleep under.
