Anyone on a Playgroup Committee?  Need Help

Hi, I've just joined our local playgroup committee and was amazed at how few people use the web to source cheaper products - course I plugged this site.

The thing is I'd like to get a list together of discounts that companies offer registered charities; particularly playgroups for purchases of equipment and toys etc.

Not all of the grants available cover everything and some of the companies the playgroup staff use to source jigsaws, books etc seem a bit expensive to me.

I know ELC offer 10% - does anyone know of any more?

I'm also on a playgoup commitee. We buy all the xmas pressies from the early learning centre, and are entitled to the 10% off code.I have suggested that we use the 20% off code that I've seen on this site., but I'm a little worried incase there are any complications as a result.(I had trouble using the lx direct ones). Has anyone had any problems using the ELC codes? Are there a few? are any deffinately open to everyone? The codes which I'm aware of are 247, and XS1,I guess I should be asking this on the vouchers board ,not here never mind!

If your toys need to be new then ignore this post - but the playgroup I go to accepts toys from pretty much anywhere that offers.

Have you thought about trying car boot sales because I got loads of stuff for my daughter there - particularly the bigger stuff likes bikes and cars for when they get a bit older (ours are all about 3 now and love them) and I will probably hand them over when I've done (obviously not me - although I do go on her fimbles scooter a bit in the living room!!). But I've also got loads of educational stuff there too - might be worth a go.
