MBNA woes

Do they ever answer the phone? I've called a few times and each time I've queued for > 30 mins and then hung up.

Any suggestions?

0800776262, not called for a while but never had too long to wait for an answer.

The number is actually 0800 062 062. I'll hazard a guess and say MBNA have about 500 reps answering the phones at any time. However, the number of callers is 50-100 times that at any time, so as you can imagine the queues can be quite long. I believe (though I haven't tried it myself) that if you pressed "0" you go straight to the queue for a rep, instead of having to keep pressing buttons. Will someone try this and let fellow Forummers know, thanks!

They seem to have a million phone numbers... I've used 0800 933 944 for general queries and 0800 085 4220 to talk about a balance transfer and another random number for something else but each time you seem to get put through to the same 'Press1; Press 2; press 3 etc' options...never had to wait more than a minute or so though
