1. Entries must be received by 25th August 2008.
2. The winner will be drawn at random within 2 weeks of the closing date and will be notified within 2 weeks of the draw taking place. The winner is required to contact VisitBritain to confirm acceptance of their prize within 2 weeks of notification. In the event of non-acceptance within the specified period, or if the person is not contactable, VisitBritain reserves the right to reallocate the prize awarded to the next randomly drawn valid entry or to forfeit the prize.
3. By entering the competition, the winner consents to take part in any publicity accompanying or resulting from this promotion, and for his/her name and county to be used for publicity purposes by VisitBritain in printed and/or online formats.
4. No purchase is necessary. Only one entry per person allowed.
5. The prize draw is open to all residents of the UK, Isle of Man and Channel Islands excluding employees of VisitBritain and Virgin Balloons and their immediate families, agents or anyone professionally connected with the promotion.
6. The grand prize is 2 Virgin Balloon Flights Adventure Packs, including a three to four hour ballooning experience, with around an hour in the air; a traditional champagne toast; a commemorative certificate signed by Sir Richard Branson and your pilot; a choice of 100+ launch sites including many all round the Southwest of England including Bath, Bristol, Glastonbury, Blandford Forum, Totnes and Dartmouth (Full list at www.virginballoonflights.co.uk); transport back to your original launch site; plus a limited edition Virgin Flight Shoulder Bag containing compact binoculars, heavy-weight branded pen, baseball cap, DVD and key ring.
7. Winner must contact Virgin Balloons within three months of being notified.
8. No cash value and non-refundable. Children aged 7 to 16 must be accompanied by a responsible adult. Passengers must be at least 4”6” in height. 12. VisitBritain will not accept responsibility for loss of entries through technical fault, postal/transmission delays or incomplete, illegible or other damaged entries. Proof of entry is not automatically proof of receipt.
13. In the event of unforeseen circumstances VisitBritain reserves the right to offer alternative prizes of equal or greater value.
