Travel insurance for an infant.

Anyone help out here?
My annual travel insurance won't let me add my infant onto it for our up and coming trip.
So the solution I see, which doesn't involve buying a family policy, is to get him his own.
however no company I've rung so far will insure a 1 year old for travel. We have to be on the policy with him.
Any companies you know that will insure a baby?
Or any ideas on how to solve the problem without having to get a whole new family policy?

I think the only thing you can really do is to buy the family policy. Most places will let the infant go free anyway, but you would have to be on the right type of policy, ie family. I dont think you'd find anyone who would, or should, insure an infant on their own policy. Sorry cant help more...
let us know what you end up doing.if it's more than 10 stone, and that hairy, it's probably not a dog...it may be a wookie.0 -
Thanks Porker. I was able to add him to the policy in the end after a bit of cajoling, thank goodness.
But was prepared to buy a brand new policy...not worth the risk with travel insurance IMO.Who made hogs and dogs and frogs?
