What happens to charging orders when you are made bankrupt?

Was this a charging order BEFORE your BR? And you are keeping the property? Then the charging order stands. If you are not keeping the property then the charging order will go with your property.
And no charging order should be made after your BR as all debts (almost) are included in BR and therefore technically do not "exist" after BR. If this has happened or threatened to, speak to your OR immediately.0 -
I never knew anything about the charging order until friday?
I'm going bankrupt and the debt was a credit card that went to a ccj0 -
Hi, if it is an 'interim' charging order but not yet final then go BR asap. If its already a final charging order then the charge will stand after BR.

Yes you can but its very diffiult to achieve. Interims almost always go final and once final you can apply to have it 'set aside' but would need a substantial reason.
