Income & Expenditure?

Im a bit confused as to what to put for this on the forms. I am a full time mum and have no income. Does that mean I leave income and expenditure blank? All bills are paid for from my husbands wages.
Also, in the part where it asks this:
How much do other members of your household contribute each month to the household expenses?
Do I put my husbands full monthly wahe amount in there?
All these forms are making my brain hurt lol.

Don't panic Raych, we've all been there.
Put your income in as nil, do you not get benefits at all? Then what you spend as a household on utilities etc. Then put DH contribution to match the outgoins to the penny. You don't have to put his full wageBSCno.87The only stupid question is an unasked oneLoving life as a Kernow Hippy0 -
We do get child benefit and tax credits which have been paid into my account but I have today changed those to be paid to my husband on advice of Nat debtline as once OR freezes my account I would not be able to access those funds.0

Sensible advise. Are the benefits in your name or joint names? If they are in your name then you must put them down as income.
If you want your own account you will be able to open a Co-op cashminder or Barclays cash account.BSCno.87The only stupid question is an unasked oneLoving life as a Kernow Hippy0 -
Hmm.. didnt know it made a difference who's name they were in as they are paid for the child of both of us if that makes sense. They are in my name, but only because I was the one who called up and arranged them in the first place. Should I get my husband to change them into his name?0

I just looked at the paperwork, the tax credits has both of our names at the top, the child benefit only mine.0

No don't worry. Child benefit is not taken into account when the OR is calculating things anyway. Just pop it in your income.
EDIT: Are you getting all the benefits you are entitled to? Check on https://www.entitledto.co.ukBSCno.87The only stupid question is an unasked oneLoving life as a Kernow Hippy0 -
Ok so..
Do you receive any other income, including state benefits or tax credits?
Yes No
If Yes, state from what source (for example pension, state benefits, part-time earnings) and how much you receive each month?
So do I put ch ben and tax credits both on there? and the full amounts for both?
I have calculated household expenditure to be 693
How much do other members of your household contribute each month to the household expenses?
So do I put this as 693, or 693 - 276 ch ben & tax credits = 417?
Sorry for being so blonde.0 -
If you dont have any income apart from Child benefit, then your share to the expenditure will be the C/B and T/C put them on as income then what ever is left on the expenditure put down as other halfs contribution. so that if you take income away from expenditure it equals NIL."Well, that sounds like a pretty good deal. But I think I got a better one. How about I give you the finger, and you give me my phone call"
