Samsung S23 Ultra now or after S24 release?
My current phone is on its way out and I am considering purchasing a new contract on a Samsung S23 Ultra. However, I am conscious that the Samsung S24 Ultra is due for release very soon and was thinking it might be better to wait for the S24 to release first as the S23 might then become cheaper as it will become the…

Remote Access
Elderly MIL has a new computer. The idea is that we have remote access for when something minor goes wrong. She won't be able to cope with being asked ro passwords etc. On the old computer we used Teamviewer but it seemd on the new machine to only be possible to set it up to give access on receipt of a password (might be…

Android tablet software update
I've got a Vankyo S20 tablet, which has started to run very slowly. Took the opportunity today to delete apps I don't use, get rid of old files etc. to try and get it performing better, when I noticed it was still running on Android 9 and there haven't been any security patches since 2019. There's no option to update the…

So I downloaded the Amazon Photos app and tapped on manual upload but it only seems to let me upload photos that go back to 11th November. I just wondered if anyone knows why this is? Thank you

Curious problem since Chrome update
I included this in another thread (on a different subject) and 'Newcad' replied, saying it might just get fixed after a while and try running Malwarebytes in the meantime. Well I've done that and the problem is still there. No problems found by Malwarebytes. When I close down my win 10 laptop and then start it up again and…
