Vado pocket cam
In my efforts to clear out 'stuff' I've come across three of these which I used in a professional capacity. All in excellent working order still. https://www.creative.com/myvado/products/vadohd3g.aspx Now that I am long retired I don't need them, however I can't think if they are going to be useful to anyone in these days…

Coffee machine descaler
I've had a L'Or Barista coffee machine for a few months, and it is nagging to be descaled. Is there a favourite descaler for this sort of machine? I have some citric acid crystals, and I could make my own descaler liquid. Would that be a bad idea? How do you get the taste out, and what do you recommend please?

Forbidden websites
Can anybody help me please? Over the last few days, several (established) websites have been coming up with the error message "403 Forbidden" when I've tried to visit them or clicked on links from emails, on both Google Chrome and Firefox. Is this because their safety certificates aren't up to date, or could it be because…

NORTON ANTI VIRUS
I was looking at buying Norton Advanced anti virus for my PC. Norton themselves wanted twice as much to purchase through them than buying from Amazon which is half the price. Norton's reason for this was that the 'shop bought Norton Advanced' product does not contain as many features as the one bought direct from Norton.…

Antivirus and whatnot for Windows 11 laptop
My wife has a new Windows 11 laptop which only she will be using, and that mainly for watching films on Prime, messing about with her photos, and web-surfing. She never goes near any dodgy sites, and is very switched-on about never downloading anything she's not sure of. Given that the laptop has Windows Defender, does it…

What's the max weight of paper/card for my printer?
I have a Brother DCP-J4120DW printer and the specs don't say what the max paper or card weight is acceptable. It just refers to 80gm paper, glossy photo card and index card. Any thoughts on how heavy I could go for? I'm hoping to print (through the rear A3 input tray) some family history charts and heavier grade would be…

Samsung colour laser printer - model Xpress C430W - suddenly stopped working.
I have had this printer for several years, purchasing it from John Lewis in 2015. Once the original toner cartridges were empty I started using cartridges from Cartridge People and have continued to do so without problem - until now. In November 2017 HP acquired Samsung's printer business. Just after Easter this year,…

Signal strength on wireless home security cameras?
I've been asked to look out to see what's suitable. Obviously wired would be the best option but currently looking at wireless & then maybe that way no expensive installer needs to be called in. Looking to pick up an area of the house. Problem is it's probably as far from the router as you can get on the property. I'm not…
