WhatsApp Advanced Privacy - alert
One of the WhatsApp groups I'm in has posted an alert that group admins should turn on Advanced Privacy' to prevent Meta AI from gaining access to all sorts of personal data. This appears to be a recent thing. However others have said that the warning is a scam and should be ignored. Is there a recent increase in the risk…

iPhone keeps changing parental settings to 18+
I have been liaising with Apple for 3 weeks now trying to get this resolved. My son is in my Family Group and I have settings for him to prevent installing apps without asking for me to review them, no in-app purchases and no 18+ apps etc. He also has a time limit which should automatically go off at 7pm until 8am. Because…

Mixing Google and Alexa
We have several Alexa devices and one Google Mini. What's driving me mad is that they use different wake words. I quite often get it wrong for the particular device I'm using. Is there some setting that allows the same wake word to be used on all of them?

Random WhatsAp suspension.
Anyone been randomly blocked from using their account lately? I am a light user of WA, just using for family coms and a number of groups related to a sports team I am in. This morning I got locked out of my account immediately after inviting two new players to one of these groups. I am assuming these request may being…

Wireless/magsafe powerbank
I have one but the charging is really quite slow. I bought this Ugreen one: https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0CCVG2ML6?ref_=ppx_hzsearch_conn_dt_b_fed_asin_title_4&th=1 It's good in that it's slim but it's just a very slow charge. My wife has this one:…

Alexa Plus - Anyone Using It ?
My daughter has gone over to Alexa Plus and in my opinion it is awful. Unlike the old Alexa I have to talk to it slowly and concisely for it to understand then it takes ages for it to respond. And the new voice sounds condescending when it does deign to answer.

Alphabetising 200GB plus of classical music arranged in composer order
OP (quoted below) is looking for an elegant solution to the problem described below, and posed their problem in a thread in Savings & Investments. Requirements (which have been drip-fed over several earlier posts) are that it must run on Windows 10, needs to be quick, and must guarantee files are listed in the file table…

Powerbank
So, I think I might get myself a powerbank. I have never really needed one much as the Moto phones I always choose generally have quite a good battery that lasts several days between charge with my normal use. However, recently I have had to do some work that requires full day use of GPS for W3W location records, and…

A safe way to share sensitive info?
The basis of this would be bank info - bank names, account sort codes/numbers (but no passwords) and then what to do with said accounts in the event of emergency/death. As I understand it, Google Drive isn't the most secure of things. What about doing this kind of thing within Proton Drive? As far as my understanding is,…

Tv with a slightly better speaker than bog standard
Looking for a 40-43 inch tv with all the smart apps and importantly a reasonable speaker audio built in. Is dolby atmos a sign of an ok speaker? I want to spend about £2-300. I'm not talking amazing speakers just slightly better than the bargain basement speakers which are unusable. I mean for example I find the amazon…
