Newbie questions
I'm planning to get a new kitchen this year as my old one's bits if built in kit are dying at an alarming rate. I've got £15k saved up but it'll run us down to only £5k cash in hand which with two kids, two cars and one earner feels quite tight. I'd like to get a 0% card and put as much of the balance on that as possible…

Amex cash
I have an Amex platinum cashback credit card and recently told them that I wanted to close the account (after I had collected the cashback). I referred my wife and she took over the next year's card adding me as a second cardholder so that we kept the good rate of cashback. Amex told me that if I kept my account open, they…

Question About Stoozing
I cant get my head around how you actually make money out of it. The best fixed rate account is 2.05% The best rate balance credit card is 2.99% fee. So surely all the money you make at the end of the year is wasted when you balance transfer onto the next card. Please could someone correct me if im missing something.…

Loan balance Transfer
Is there any way that I can transfer my sons CC Balance to my Credit Card if I get a 0% interest card? He has about 3K and I have not got a credit card but he is paying interest but doesn't think he would qualify for a 0% card as he is a musician without a steady income. He is paying £100 or so each month but majority of…

Too many credit cards?
I have managed to pay off 14K of debts in the past 4 years :j using a bank loan and stoozing. However I am now left with 5 credit cards- all zero balance, but they keep writing to me putting up my credit limit. I only use one of them now and always pay it off in full every month but I am a little concerned that each of my…

How much are you able to Stooze in this financial climate?
I am finding it difficult to find a home for my £11k stooze in 0%. Can't seem to get any credit card currently even though I meet all payments etc without any problem. Tried applying for Fluid card and got rejected which the adviser said that it might be because of a high debt amount as it is. What's your experience?

Credit Card Chargeback??
Hi, we put a deposit down on a new motorhome at a show in Shrewsbury in July, we soon realised that the price quoted was way over the new price of the motorhome. We also found that it had been with the dealer since January, and that it had done nearly 900 miles. We cancelled the order, by email, on the 5th day. We…

PPI Claim & sick pay
I recently made a PPI claim to a credit card company. The account was opened in 1998. The company has contacted me by phone to ask me: Was I entitled to sick pay at the time, the length of time I was entitled to sick pay and how much. On the original PPI claim form I said I can't remember. They said if this is the case…

Credit card charges
Let me start by saying, I always pay off my credit card on full, that was, until June. In May, I paid for a new kitchen using two credit cards. I transferred the money out of my ISA and paid Lloyds in full and on time. However, before leaving to go to France for a weeks motor sport, I couldn't place my Tesco Statement, so…

Santander credit card 'balance transfer' - not so simple
Hi - FYI really. I just took out the Santander Credit Card as I have a balance to transfer (I put an airline ticket on my existing card). It is unusual for me to have one, so thought I'd make use of the 0% offer. Most of my banking accounts are with Santander so they know my financial situation , however, when the card…

What should I do with this BT offer?
Hi all, Have just been offered a 12 month 0% deal on my AA credit card, currently unused with a £7800 limit. It's a 4% fee, minimum £3. I've no interest bearing CC debts (have approx £12k on interest free, ends next September) — just the mortgage. I've never stoozed before, so would it be a good idea? If so, how can I make…
