When to stop?
I've been stoozing for a long time but have ramped it up a bit recently as I don't have to worry about my credit score any more (mortgage paid off etc). I've currently got about £45K of 0% debt on credit cards with available credit totalling £115K across all of my cards. I've been reluctant to close any cards down because…

Crafty way to withdraw cash with much lower fee !!!??
If I was to buy my own credit/ debit card reader (£12 ??) and link it to myself, and then used my 0% credit card to pay myself however much (at around 1% ?? free from card reader) and then banked that money and stoozed it for the length of the 0% credit card offer (... or in other words made a purchase - to myself) is this…

Yo-Yo balance transfer
I've got about £4k at 0% ending 31st January. This card also has about £2k available credit with a 0% offer. I also have another card offering a fee-free balance transfer at 9.9% APR. I was thinking of transferring the £4k to the 9.9% card, then once the transaction has cleared transferring it back. I reckon this would…

Utilisation Ratio
Hi team, Don’t think I’ve seen a consensus answer to this: how much of your limit should you use on a given card (0% on purchases, or Balance Transfer, or Money Transfer)? I’ve heard 50%, a third, or even the full 90-95%. Assume that don’t want to decimate my credit score, and that I will need to apply for new cards within…

Virgin Credit Card Balance Transfer
Hi, I have a Virgin Credit Card offer of 3.5% money transfer with 0% fee until October 27. Have £16435 available to transfer to my bank and then invest at 4.5% fixed for 1 year with invested and thereafter rate to be confirmed. I've run some figures through AI and it's come up with the following, do you think it's worth…

Balance transfer layered on a balance transfer
Have had a flick through small print but can't work out what the impact of this would be so seeing if others have lived experience to confirm. Used a 0% BT to Barclaycard for 18 months which has 12 months still to run. They've now increased my credit limit and made the same 0% BT offer (18 month) which in theory is good…

Transfer from card in Partners name
Haven't been doing balance transfers for a few years now but have got back into the game and trying to transfer a balance from a Natwest card in my name to a Lloyd's one in my wife's name but Lloyd's keep rejecting it. Has there been some change of rules about transferring a balance from a card in another person's name?

HSBC credit card
hi I was banking with hsbc for around 5 years and had account and credit card. Around 2 years ago they closed my account without explanation. Apparently they don’t have to. Branch manager said he could understand why as no suspicious activity on my account. i have a really great credit rating and can borrow large amounts…

New to this, interest free period ends 6 Mar 2026 - when should I apply for another card if I want to shift the debt? Or if I want to clear the balance is it just a case of making a payment a few days before 6 Match? Thanks

What do you do with your "profit" ?
Hey all So I started stoozing last October 2024. I've tracked my interest earned over this time and am now at £2.52 a day. £75 ISH a month. i want to maximise the use/potential so I was thinking of adding this to my pension each month and receiving the tax relief as well. What do you guys do to make best use of your profit…

I keep getting 0% balance transfer offers WITH a 2.99% fee?
So they are not 0% at all, right? What am I not understanding? So sorry to sound daft. I am new to stoozing. Last year, I got a 0% purchases card (10K) whose 0% deal expires in January BUT I'm holding a mental note for myself for October or November to pay it off, just over 12 months. I've put the money into several…

3% fee BT on Virgin Credit Card
Hi, I've been offered 0% interest 3% fee on an existing credit card with Virgin for 12 months, the limit is £17500 with zero balance. Has anyone been offered any lower fees on BT credit cards, I don't seem to be getting any better offers at the moment.

Credit Card Advice Please
I've taken early retirement and my OAP retirement date is this December. I don't currently have a credit card. I'm considering purchase a car and am looking for advice on paying for it. I have the balance in savings. Do I: - buy from savings - apply for a cashback credit card (i wonder if I would be eligible) - any other…

Possible actions to increase credit limit.
I have built up a Stooze pot on two credit cards, with a 0% interest rate that ends in December 2025. The total amount will be approximately £16,000 in December. I've also used other 0% fee cards and would now like to transfer both balances to a Barclaycard. Is there anything I can do between now and the end of November to…

End of Barclaycard Zero Percent
I have been stoozing with a large balance on a barclaycard, made some good money. Except for them increasing the minimum payments to 3% from the original 1% but still did okay. Anyway the interest free period has finished. I now have a card with no money owed and a £14k limit. I do get the occasional offers but always with…

How do you secure the longest 0% deals?
The longest I’ve been offered is 20 months on one card and 15 months on another. I see deals offered for 24 months but I’ve never been pre approved for those. How are you securing the longest deals?

Are BT 0% offers usually on new cards?
I have a NatWest card with the balance transfer offer coming to an end. Is it better to close the card, reduce the limit to keep the card open, or keep the limit as I might get a new offer on the card?

Balance transfer plan
My 0% purchases CC promotion runs out in a few weeks. I have opened a new 0% no fee 12 month BT CC and will transfer the balance of my old 0% purchases CC to this new CC. However the credit limit of the new card is £300 less than the balance I have applied to transfer. I presume the best policy is to make a payment…

quick access - Stoozing table
For those who remember TMF forums and its offshoot stoozing.com forum 20 years+ ago, it had a very handy table that gives a single consolidated view of both 0% balance transfer & purchases cards currently on offer. I hope the forum admins would consider something similar if that is beneficial here as well.
