Increasing upper body / arm strength
My running coach says I need to do this if I am going to run a marathon. He mentioned badminton, squash and tennis. None of which I can play due to being uncoordinated.:o I can't do weights either due to an ongoing shoulder injury. I currently swim and go to the gym. At the gym, I use a rowing machine, bike and handcycle.

Turbo trainers
So I have bought a turbo trainer tonight, to try and get back to a level of fitness following 3 months off. I've seen some things online but if anyone has any recommendations. I need to get my base miles back up, having lost most of my mussel mass in a 2 week hospital stay.

Secure pockets in sports clothing
A sort of rant really. Why is is that so many manufacturers of sports clothing such as track suits, sports hoodies etc always manufacture them without secure zipped pockets for containing items like house/car keys or mobile phones?. This kit is often worn in outdoor places like parks, etc and it's really inconvenient not…

Where can I buy a Gym(combination) locker for under 3 pounds?
Is 3 pounds or so for a padlock from 'the Gym group' a good deal? Also are combination locks better than conventional lock with a key? I imagine resetting a combination lock isn't the hardest thing in the world and also there's a risk with a conventional lock that somebody else might have exactly the same lock as me !

Sorry if this has been posted before, but has anyone here done the Insanity Workouts with Shaun T? I am on day five of week seven. As a runner I notice I have some advantages in that I have more stamina than some of Shaun's people. On the minus side I am not nearly as flexible and there are some things I have great…

Better deals at former LA Fitness clubs (now Sports Direct Fitness)

Rights of a parent for child's football team
Sorry if this is in the wrong place but hopefully a few football managers in here. Child is in a kids football team affiliated to the FA.
