Best value magazine subscriptions websites?
Hi all, So this year I'm looking into getting my Dad a subscription to Sky At Night magazine for Xmas as he is heavily into his astronomy (he even built his own observatory in the back garden!) Best price I've found so far is £41 for 12 issues, but I reckon there must be somewhere it may be going cheaper than that. So…

Outdoor etagerie for Christmas display
As I mentioned in an earlier post, my outdoor tree that I usually put in the porch is looking pretty awful so I was considering buying an artificial outdoor tree. Gifts for cats a daft idea?
Morning all! I'm making some catnip pillows for the cats in our extended family (4 in total)- just simple squares stuffed with the catnip I've found here. A few people have said it's a bonkers idea and that you shouldn't get gifts for pets. What do you think? Do you give your pets gifts at Christmas?

Why do people ask if they have no intention of getting you what you ask for?
Eurgh... I am always really grateful for every present I get but I am getting really frustrated with people asking me what I would like then looking at me like a mad person and ignoring my suggestion haha! I was asked second hand by my partner for what I would like from his parents. I am going to South Korea next year for…
