However, I've started looking in corporate bonds and was curious what the risks are and whether I've understood everything. For example Vodafone are offering (XS0181816652) 5.625% on this bond with a…

Life Interest Fund vs Interest accrued in savings accounts
Hello, In my late mother's will, she has requested a post death life interest fund to be setup for my elder brother who has mental health issues. Earnings and Starter Rate
Is the amount calculated before or after stoppages from earnings? For example, earnings of £15500 per year or take home pay £13800? Maxed out on premium bonds and ISA, so could do with knowing how much interest I can earn in regular savings accounts before I pay tax on interest. Thanks for any help.

each – represent the distributed monthly income based on…

Hi all I have an ISA maturing in a few weeks and wondering what to do. I'm not using my full personal allowance so I don't really need another ISA I don't think ! ? My plan was to drop it into NS&I Guaranteed Income Bonds which have a rate a little better than my current ISA. Thoughts much appreciated.

£600K - prioritise ISA v SIPP for new money?
I'm starting to realise that whilst I don't know what the hell "the plan" is yet I'm starting to have more and more thoughts about doing something to reduce work. I can't put any detail on that as I really don't have any - just finding the idea pops into my mind a little more than it used to. So I'm 49 and right now the…

Bank in 2002 and 2004 I bought shares via an employee share save scheme at 'x' pounds per month in both cases over a three year period, so I know how much I originally paid for them. In truth I forgot about these shares for a while and thought thankfully I had sold all my Nat West shares before the value plummeted. Over…
