Running - And a random act of kindness!
So just before Christmas, I went out for a run! The stresses of family not talking to me much after the passing of mum in July, was back at the forefront of my mind. Ironically, the stress was back as one of my sisters had a go at me over a text message. So off I go for a run. Just before mile 1.7, I saw a lady with a…

Restored my faith in my community :)
Everyone talks about local fb groups… a lot of people described as “karens” or “moaning about fireworks”. in the depth of my depression I got myself into a heap of debt… this month paid off my loans but unfortunately due to other bills have been left with £0. (My own fault) I put a post on our local fb group asking about…

Thankful to a stranger...
I had a parcel go missing with Hermes before Christmas, the company refunded me. Then last week Hermes sent me a message saying it was out for delivery, so I assumed it had been found in a warehouse, perhaps getting lost with all the Christmas parcels. I waited in, no parcel arrived but the delivery information updated to…

Sometimes it’s the little things
We went shopping today. I was feeling a bit bleeeurgh because I’d had an injection and my arm was hurting. Just outside the supermarket a little girl approached me and gave me a daffodil. She ran over to her mother, turned round and waved at me and gave me a big smile. Sore arm forgotten, I suddenly felt good.

On our way home from shopping this morning we pulled up at the lights behind a car with a personalised number plate. I wondered if the owner thought it might work as a vaccine passport, it read X2 JAB. Made us laugh. :D

A personal victory.
This might not seem a lot to anyone reading this, but to me it's massive. I have PTSD. There, I said it. For years, I have thought that people walking by were looking down their noses at me, judging me. I went to the doc, he gave me medications that made the world foggy and me feel funny so I stopped them (yes, I know.…

EasyJet won’t change voucher to refund
Newbie here..our flights were cancelled by EasyJet last year. We kindly opted for a voucher because we understood W’s could get a refund instead if we wanted. Now we have tried to get a refund but they have refused. They say we have to book or loose our money. I’ve read Martin’s guide and it says we can have a refund (…
