THE NATIONAL LOTTERY
Well Im surprised to see this not listed what does Martin think of the Lottery? I think its a scam as you have twice as much chance of being knocked down by a run away horse out side your front door than ever winning its also unfair as those that can afford to buy more tickets have a better chance of winning as most…

Identity Theft Scam - Citibank
Had an e-mail this morning, claiming to be from Citibank, asking me to confirm ATM/Pin details, etc. This is something I would NEVER ever do anyway, and especially as I am not even a member of Citibank! Anyhow, its one of the best e-mails I have seen so far, no spelling or grammatical errors I could see, well laid out etc…

Suddenly in June I lost Topuptv from my screen but as I was going away on Holiday I was not to concerned. Tonight I called them to report the problem and they told me that the Direct Debit had been cancelled of which is…

Reconditioned Sky+ Box
Hi, Not very happy at the moment, just had a Sky engineer tell me my Sky+ box needs replacing as it keeps freezing and switching itself off. Problem is that it is less than 5 months old and he would only replace it with a reconditioned box. Spent 40 minutes on the phone to Skys attempt at customer services (0870 number !)…

Tesco self-scanners. Are they a security risk?
Went to Tesco last night. They had some new self-scanning machines. Great we thought, we'll give them a go. Put the shopping through, swiped clubcard, swiped credit card, it printed out receipt, voila, easy peasy. Afterwards I thought, how can this happen without putting in a PIN number or signing anything. ie. like in M &…

Kwik-Fit at Redruth
;D Top Marks to Kwik-Fit at Redruth Cornwall for the work they did on my brakes whilst I was on holiday. The service I recieved was speedy and of excellent quality, far better than my local London branch at home! If only I lived closer to Redruth I'd take my car back this Kwik-Fit.

Lloyds TSB
Hi, I've never posted before but had to tell someone about the bad experience my girlfriend has just had with Lloyds TSB. She moved a few months ago and didn't change her address with Lloyds. She had an old account which was £500 overdrawn and, as she never used it any more, she completely forgot about it. She got her mail…

M & S Soiled goods
Marks and Spencer for years have discounted their non returnable soiled goods by at least 25%. I have noticed now though that they are reducing them by less than 10% i.e. £8 school blouse down to £7.25. Given that these items are non returnable for the fault/marks pointed out I think this is a rip off. Also little tip -…

Spar charging 50p for cashback
Don't know if this is nation-wide, but the one I went to told me it's 50p. I asked a very stern 'why' and was told (stroppily) 'it's just the way it is'. Tight fisted ***'s. After everywhere was bigging up cashback as a way to avoid cash machine fees, Spar rip off their customers with this one. Do you think this because…

The New Inn, Heckfield
We went to this place recently for a family meal out. 8 of us, aged between 12 and 60+. You wouldn't call us a fussy family, exactly, but 'favourite meals' range from a jacket with cheese and beans to, well, posher food. It was BRILLIANT. From the moment we walked in and saw the sign saying they served food all day every…

Is anyone else bombarded with sales calls? I've registered to not receive any but every single weeknight they start from 6pm onwards, 2 or 3 a night.
