Sky - Sky HD+ Box
I've got an old sky box - still connects to the outside world for TV via a dish, although I can download and stream when required. I've had a recent issue when I go to the TV guide, I can see the menu of programmes but can't select them. Planner works fine on playback. I've tried different remotes, and the issue persists -…

Most BB deals no longer include phone
So if we wanted to keep a home phone e.g. landline number how would we do it if the broadband deals are for bb only. VOIP I assume? So, how is that done? What do I need to research to understand this. Personally I'm OK with using just a mobile, but Mrs zen is not.

Sky stream football
Hello, So I've never had sky sports before and being an Ipswich fan and having them in the premier league I was contemplating signing up on a Flexi deal. My question is whether 3pm Saturday games are shown in full later on the Saturday night (or atleast with good length highlights) and without showing the scores on the…

Calls cutting off to specific numbers

Digital Landline without call plan
Existing phone+broadband contract is coming up for renewal. Looking around, suppliers are offering broadband only or with digital landline on a calls plan at additional cost. However, the landline is only needed for incoming calls so paying for "free" calls that won;t be made seems excessive. Does anyone know of suppliers…

TV, Phone and Broadband options
I am considering leaving SKY, as the price is due to go up from £55 to £75 for broadband, telephone and SKY signature TV (with Netflix add on). I am reluctant to leave SKY, as I have been with them for about 15 years and have always managed to secure a significant discount upon renewal and it is easy having all services…

MSE News: Inflation-linked broadband, mobile and TV price hikes to be banned from next year
Broadband, mobile and pay TV firms will no longer be able to hit customers with inflation-linked price hikes mid-contract from January 2025, regulator Ofcom has confirmed. But, as MoneySavingExpert.com (MSE) founder Martin Lewis has warned, the new rules will still allow for above-inflation price rises. Inflation-linked…

Can anyone advise if watching iPlayer on your own laptop in a hotel room is legal, without a licence (on the assumption that the hotel has a licence covering all rooms etc). Just had a "gotcha" email from TV Licensing, and I recall I watched some iPlayer a few months ago in a hotel, otherwise never look at it. Any advice…

Sky v virgin
I still have a few months left on my sky contract but I'm interested in changing to Virgin. I've been with sky for over 20 years and have no issues with the service just the cost. With sky we have Netflix, paramount, Disney, discovery & cinema. Would I still be able to get these on VM?
