Private Parking Fine - Parking Control Solutions
I received a fine back in Nov 21 and it was paid by my office as I was not in the country. On my return I contested the matter as I have a Blue Badge and simply asked for a picture to confirm the fine was legitimate. PCS said that payment of the fine was acceptance. I then wrote four letter to them without any response; I…

Portishead quays blue badge fine
Thanks to the advice here I have succeeded with my appeal. Parking Eye charged me for overstaying whilst displaying a blue badge. The blue badge gives an extra hour free which they hadn't taken account of. The appeal to parking eye was rejected, but they withdrew the fine when I applied to popla. Many thanks

Recently deceased keeper - bit of fun or am I going too far?
Hello all I unfortunately lost my father very recently who was always a bit of a joker and hated parking parasites as much as the next man. I have used this forum and the newbies thread to successfully wipe three tickets off at the POPLA stage without too much fuss over the past 10 years or so for different people…

POPLA and the 2000 character limit
I have noticed recently that various posts reference the limit of 2000 characters on a POPLA appeal. In my case, I emailed POPLA saying that this was not enough AND that I needed to attach documents. I then had a reply giving me an email address that I could send my appeal to, as well as attach my documents. This I did and…

Reporting PPCs to Trading Standards
In my opinion, far too few of theses tickets reach Trading Standards. There was a case recently where the PPC did not have a contract with the landowner as required by law. Other cases concern faulty ANPR cameras, charging for time spent looking for a space, PCNs in residential car parks where primacy of contract applies,…
