Civil parking ticket de criminalised
Tunbridge Wells council issued me with a parking ticket when I was 5 mins late getting back to my car, I had a ticket for 2 hours and forgot which level I had parked on. When I got to my car the wardens were still there, I asked them to be reasonable, but guess what, they weren't. I appealed and my appeal was rejected so I…

Parking ticket received in Guildford
I have received a parking ticket in Guildford (my own fault as I was visiting a client who lives in a residents only parking area, and I took the risk and parked for 20 minutes, but got caught!), but rather than just pay up, I thought I would check in with the experts on parking tickets to check that the notice issued is…

Parking ticket issued in wrong name
Hi i recently got a parking ticket from Greenwich council through my own idiocracy. However when they sent me the ticket through the post i ignored it because it wasn't addressed to me (i live in a shared house and assumed that it was for a previous tenant). The name was completely wrong, Mrs not Mr, a different first…

Advice Please re clamping/tow away of car
A few weeks ago I parked my car in the local car park near some shops to do some shopping with my baby. I put him in the pram and did my shopping. He fell asleep so rather than wake him I walked home with him. Later on my partner went with my daughter to go and collect it and rung me to say it wasn't there - we initially…

Contesting wheel clamping charges
Yesterday evening I parked at retail park car park which I have used on occasion for the last 6 years. When I returned to my car it was clamped and the ticket issued stated the clamping was for "exceeding the resticted time limit". There is no charge at this car park and the ticket had been issued 10 minutes before I…

Westminster Council - Residents parking Bay
So I received a PCN today which I was very upset about from Westminster Council for being parked in a residents permit. I was actually parked on a single yellow line OUTSIDE the residents permit. PCN in a closed road with double yellow lines.
I got a PCN today in ilford on a road which had been closed due to roadworks on the main road. The picture (that I can't upload due to a restriction on new users) shows a double yellow line just before the "road closed" sign where I had parked. see pic at the following URL: tinypic.com/r/25jibty/5 (add http:// to it first,…

Ambiguous sign lead to Parking Ticket
Im not stupid but clearly read this sign wrong and got a parking ticket even though I'd parked after 7pm. I understand each sign on their own but what do they mean combined? See profile.imageshack.us/user/goodjob66/images/detail/#245/image7k.jpg

TPS Parking Charge Notice, poor signage, ignore or dispute?
I parked today in a car park which used to be MFI but the store is shut. It was clearly a car park, marked bays, but I didnt see any prohibitive signs by the entrance or exit which were both together on one side of the car park. I looked for a pay and display machine, but could only find one on the road outside the car…

saynoto0870 - and say no for paid parking!
Companies and government want people to spend more on phone calls - and saynoto0870 makes people able to avoid it. I wonder is there any website of the same idea for parking: you enter a postcode, the time when you are going to stay and it shows possible alternatives sorted by distance: 1-hour free parkings, supermarkets…

Paid parking fine on time but they didn't receive on time!
I paid my parking fine to Harrogate Borough Council within two days of the allowed 14 days before attaching the extra (double) fine. They received it l10 days-ish later. I have paid the £25 but they want the other £25 = £50!! I am so annoyed. It's not my fault that they did not get it on time. Does anyone think it's worth…
