Audi Service plan
I’m about to sell my Audi to a car dealership. I have a service plan which runs until April 26 (paid monthly). On looking at it it’s a separate payment and can’t be cancelled? But can be transferred to the new owner. I will give them a call tomorrow but just wanted to check if anyone here has been in a similar situation…

Hi, I'm assuming the recent video by ML about re-taxing your electric vehicle and saving one year on tax only applies to full electric and not hybrids?!

Unable to rebook speed awareness course
Hi, I hope you're well I received a letter relating to a speeding offence in November. I have been driving for nearly half a decade and never had a speeding ticket in my life. It was on a road that begins as a 40 and turns into a 30. I take it all the time. Never had a problem. But this time, I was clocked at 41 mph. My…

PCP end of lease charges
Hi, I’ve just handed my car back after 2 years and I’ve been charged £750 for some ridiculous things. £200 for a missing cable when I only recieved one cable when I got the car. £400 for ‘poor repairs’ I’ve never had the car repaired so how on earth can I be charged for this? Apparently a poor repay has lead to dulling or…

How Premium is Costco Premium Diesel?
Just filled up today at Costco with their so-called "Premium Diesel" but is it really premium in the same way as, for example Shell's Vpower diesel, or is it just.marketing guff. I did have a good look at the pump but all I could see was that is B7 diesel, which afaik is just regular diesel.

Does re-starting car tax before April beat the hike?
My car tax (diesel) will be going up from £0 this year. Does anyone know if it's possible to re-do car tax now for a year and get a whole year at the £0 rate? I saw some article like this but it implied it only works on EVs.

Caravan Tyres
Our caravan needs new tyres and I can get cheaper ones made in China. Are these any good or should I get some better ones made by established names? I cannot find any reviews on this.

Extended Vehicle Warranty
Last week I purchased a car from Carbase. I bought the extended warranty for a three year period. When I collected my new vehicle two days later I was given the warranty T&Cs. I established that I don’t require this product and I have asked Carbase and The Warranty Group to cancel and provide a full refund. Both companies…

Lex auto car tax rules
I've an EV.. Martin mentioned last night about applying early for car tax so you get a free year from April when tax applies to EVs too, regardless of when it's due. I lease from Lex Auto. They won't tax it early, I asked them today, due to their 'rules'. That's a shame as anyone driving an electric leased car will miss…

Stolen and recovered cars are not flagged by Autotrader checks
Did anyone else know that if a car is stolen and recovered the checks by Autotrader won't show this up, despite the fact that it has a significant detrimental effect on the value of the car? I found myself in this position, garage I purchased from were no help, and Autotrader claimed that it was because there was no…

New Car - Hatchbag, Titan or Boot Buddy Boot Liner?
I asked for recommendations on boot liners a couple of weeks ago and have been doing some research. Having dogs I need a boot liner to keep the boot as clean as possible. In my last car I had a Hatchbag liner which wore very well and after 6 years was in great shape. The only problem was the fact that the velcro didn't…

I need to buy a new car, my old one was in an accident and is a write off. I have £15,000. What would be the best way to pay for it finance if I can get it or cash, considering I could end up not being able to drive it shortly given my age? I am loth to pay £15,000 if I might only be able to drive it for a year or two, I…

Hyundai bounces along the road.
My 2011 reg Hyundai i10 has developed a slight gentle bounce when I am driving at speed on a dual carriageway that I drive on two or three times a week. The ones they have chosen are c.160 miles away and all have a higher mileage than my vehicle.…
