Car body repair question
The parental vehicle appears to have sustained some damage just below the rear window. No clue how it happened. Wondering what the cheapest way of getting it repaired is? Would going to a scrapyard mean getting the whole tailgate bit replaced or is it possible to fix just the damaged bit and if so, how would we know what…

I've been the only driver since he died in december 2024. I do not own my own car. Apparently if I was his spouse I could transfer but not as his daughter.

Conventional automatic transmission?
Can anyone recommend a small used car with a conventional automatic gearbox? I am loyal to Toyota and Honda but their Yaris/Jazz have CVT gearboxes and I would rather have a mechanical one, as I do on my larger Toyota and Honda. This is for my daughter, who can only drive automatic, and we are looking to spend up to £7000.
