EE third party carrier's
My Vodafone contract is almost finally up. I wish to move back to EE. But are third-party EE carriers worth while 1p mobile looks a good price cheaper than what my Vodafone price is now. Is there any real advantages of being with a main network? I'm just getting frustrated with Vodafone signal in certain locations.

Lebara nightmare: number not working for over 2 months
I'd like to share my experience switching to Lebara after seeing their cheap deals being promoted quite heavily on this site. Almost three months ago I switched to Lebara using an MSE-blagged deal. After transferring my old number I found I could no longer make or receive calls and texts unless I was at home and had Wifi…

Problems with ID Mobile! How to cancel an order within the 14 day cooling off period!
I'm at my wits end with ID mobile! I ordered 2 mobile phones with them last week, and received confirmation etc. They then proceeded to cancel one order (but claimed that I had made the cancellation??) and then tried to upsell me a new more expensive deal on the now cancelled phone!! During which customer service was very…

O2
I cannot find that this has been posted, but I opted out of O2 because of the price increase. I am SIM only and what I didn't realise that as my contract didn't finish until next July, I am now facing a bill of £89 as a percentage of what I should have paid until that date. Had anybody else experienced this and did they…

o2 price hike termination- no separate device plan
Looking for a bit of clarification with my o2 deal. I bought a new phone and contract plan around August through Samsung, where I paid an initial sum to Samsung for the device followed by a 24 month contract with o2 for the remainder of the device and the airtime plan. With the recent comms on price increases, I have been…

Three Customer Lab doing Survey for possible New PAYG SIM bundle
I should have written the detail down as I did the survey a few days ago. One option was IIRC £10 for 10GB, 500mins, 500texts and it'll run until one of the options is fully used, then you can buy another bundle. Anyone else seen it, done the survey?

Hi. This is just for information really for anyone considering ditching O2 following their recent hike on hike annoncements. I decided to cancel my airtime contract but wanted to keep my device payment scheme. Therefore i contacted O2 customer service. After waiting 40 minutes to get through i advised the C.S agent of my…

Tesco Mobile pay-as-you-go customer? Be prepared: it may push you to buy a bundle
Tesco Mobile is pushing its pay-as-you-go (PAYG) users to move to its new bundles. Failure to do so means paying for Tesco Mobile's standard PAYG rates, which it's hiked by up to 213%. If you're one of the 1.4 million users affected, it's worth looking at switching to a cheap monthly Sim instead – unless you just keep your…

Lebara Mobile UK’s data security is a serious concern.
Lebara’s data security is a serious concern. Days after signing up, I received an email that appeared to be from Lebara. The email address I signed up with is not public, has never been on the Internet, is not shared with friends or family or work and so has never once recorded a spam or scam email. The senders email…

SPUSU - WARNING!
I ported my number across to Spusu from Lebara as Lebara uses the Vodafone network and the 5g coverage is almost non existent. Seeing as Spusu run on EE, which I've never had a problem with in all the years I've used MVNOs, I thought it was a good move. How wrong I could be! Porting was smooth, no issues. The problem began…

MSE Vodafone Deal Currys voucher tip
Apologies if this has already been posted but it seemed to be an accidental discovery which I thought I'd share. I used MSE to find a suitable SIM only deal with Vodafone a couple of months ago and got a £50 Currys voucher. It was only valid for six months so I thought I'd take a look it the Currys website to see what I…

free-to-order Pay As You Go SIM without upfront plan attached?
I'm trying to find out which providers still offer a truly free-to-order SIM, without added charges or plans when you order it. I plan to to use it as a backup through occasional top-ups only - ideally it would not be deactivated if I do not top it up for a few months. There's some related info on the main MSE site and on…

Old mobiles
I have a load of old mobiles, ranging from the very old (e.g early Nokia) to newer (e.g. Samsung S7). I am in the process of wiping everything on them at the moment. Was wondering - what is the best thing to do with them? I know there used to be companies that gave you money when you sent them in but not sure if any still…

VodaThree Merger
I'm an IT professional who manages 150+ mobile connections. Over the years, I've moved our organisation from network to network based on the best deal available and strength/features. Three are offering amazing business deals at present (around £6.50/unlimited SIMO); but our network tests just show their coverage remains…
