Best provider for making calls to Jersey
My 86-year-old Mum likes to call a friend in Jersey now and again. She uses a 'thick' phone as she doesn't understand how to use apps and the like. She doesn't even know how to text, bless her. Like many others it seems, O2 class calls to Jersey as 'International' and sting her for 55p per minute. Outrageous if you ask me.…

Lebara customer wants new Lebara tariff - can I keep my number?
I signed up for an MSE Lebara SIM-only monthly tariff a couple of years ago. I still have it, and I want to change it now, to a Lebara tariff that gives me more data for the same money. How do I achieve this, while keeping my phone number? Has anyone here tried it? I have switched off the auto-renew on my currrent tariff…

Virgin to O2 - contact from O2 (?) - scam or legit?
I was recently transferred from VirginMobile to O2 along with everyone else. I initially received 2 texts from O2 at the start of July with what seemed to be my O2 username and password. Then, on 24 July I received 2 texts in the same text chain, which said: a) "*SECURITY WARNING* The one-time code you requested will…

Three EU Roaming
I'm going to Spain tomorrow and have a Three mobile contract (not pre- '21). I had looked on their site a few days ago and saw they had a £20 charge for 14 days roaming in the EU. I thought I would buy that tonight, as I need to research travel over there and use date for Zoom etc. But I just looked tonight and I can only…

ID MOBILE - Continue to take direct debits after contract ends
Hi, has anyone had experience of ID mobile continuing a contract after the fixed period had finished? I took a contract out on a phone that came with a data plan, but i never actually used the number. I kept a previous sim only number and used that instead. I was under the assumption that once the phone contract was paid…

EE SIM Only - Blue Light Discount?
I'm thinking of switching to the EE 20GB SIM that's offered via BT for £9 a month. I'm currently on a 1pmobile £10 data boost but the 10gb isn't always enough. EE is a 24 month contract with price increases, however I have a Blue Light card and a Beans account who both have 20% off codes for EE. I'm not sure if they'll…

Mobile phone stolen - 'proof of usage'
I lost my phone 3 weeks ago. I got a replacement (like new). While waiting for the replacement, I was given a new iPhone SE to use for 2 weeks. I loved it, so planned to sell the replacement phone, pay off my contract and buy myself an SE. I didn't turn on / use the replacement phone at all. I was robbed on the way to…

Cheapest SIM to receive texts on?
Hello. I'm looking for a SIM that would only be used to receive text messages on. Rates per minute / text / MB are not that relevant, as I'm not going to use those, unless I have to to keep the number. The important thing is to keep the number indefinitely without having to top up often. Suggestions welcome.

Hello. My wife and I both have a monthly account with 3 phone. Today, we tried to make contact and couldn't because of the poor reception. MSE Mobile Comparison Tool - Fake Deals?
Do the deals the comparison tool advertises actually exist? Tried to click through on a couple now and get taken to a generic page on the retailer's website. I guess MSE still gets the affiliate money even if you end up going for a more expensive deal on the same site once you've been misled into clicking through.

Lebara mis-selling "monthly" plans?
The Lebara promos recently run through MSE such as the exclusive-monthly-plan-440/p/441223 clearly advertise themselves as monthly plans both in the name "Exclusive Monthly Plan £4.40" and the rate "99p/month for 6 months". Yet once you sign up and get the direct debit, it doesn't deduct on the same day each month, but…

My question is, if I do get a contract phone here will I…
