IDMobile gift via MSE link
Took SIMs with IDMobile and used the link from MSE for a £30 Amazon or Curry's voucher in February. Neither arrived so started the process of claiming after the 90 days were up, they changed this to 120 days so waited some more. Completed the Google forms from Awin that didn’t work. Told by Awin it was now Gift Cloud.…

Samsung S25 Ultra - best time of the year to buy their latest phones
I'm interested in buying the S25 ultra which will be out early next year. I tend to buy phones outright which isn't cheap. I'll be using a trade in which will give £300 off. Based on history is it better to buy it on pre launch and get the bundles or wait for Easter etc. Thanks

Telenor maritime charges
Hi all, Was wondering if anyone has any experience with telenor maritime charges? My daughter managed to switch off airplane mode whilst out at sea a week ago, we're fairly sure her activity was only watching downloaded Netflix shows, but was curious to see if people have had charges before, and how long did it take to…

Samsung S24 plus: buying from Samsung.com UK or Amazon UK
Hi all I would be grateful for some advice please. I am replacing my old Samsung S8 and I am tempted by the new
S24 plus. I have read online that the processor varies based on where
its brought and the best processor in Snapdragon (US, Canada, Taiwan) compared to
Exynos 2400 (UK and Europe). Looking at where to buy…

Spusu Customer Service Feedback
I noticed on the main site there is 'too little feedback' on Spusu for a rating. I've been with Spusu for 6 months on a rolling 1-month unlimited SIM only at £29.90/month, for data only use in my 5G router. It's been a great experience. Good internet speed, solid connection, no drop-outs. I'm in a Vodafone only 4G service…

O2 have been taking £5 unauthorised direct debit from my 81 yo Dad for 15 months
I searched the forum to see if anyone else had already posted about this and the last post was in 2011 and has since been closed, but it looks like this practice is still ongoing. Judging by the Virgin Media Community Forum it isn't exactly uncommon either!…

Mobile calls to Spain
My partner's daughter is moving to Spain shortly. What is the cheapest way to phone her - when I call it will be using my Lebara sim only phone but am confused as to what Lebara mean by free roaming. Should I, for instance, be thinking about calling via a 3rd party app. I need to sort this pretty quickly as the daughter…

Breach of contract?
I recently undertook an upgrade on my phone. There was no early upgrade fee. However, I had to pay £160 for the new handset on the plan. I timed it, so the bill ended on the end of the current pay period for that month. The company didn't take the last direct debit from my account and took the monthly bill from the £160…

SIM only plans with EU roaming: Co-op vs Lyca vs Lebara
I have an O2 SIM-only plan which is coming to an end. I would like another SIM only plan with EU roaming. I'd rather switch to another network, as the O2 signal isn't great (even in central London, the O2 signal is always worse than on my EE work phone or my partner's Vodafone). I have narrowed it down to: * Co-op mobile:…

No contract sims ?
Is there a sim that I can use on my backup phone that I hardly ever use that the credit doesn't expire ? I was surprised that last time I went to use it I found the provider had " stolen" all my credit , I'm not tech savvy so assumed my credit was mine, which used to be the case.

EU Roaming with Lebara
I have a Lebara SIM for some months now and really happy with it. Now I will be going to Spain for a week and afterwards visit a friend in southern France. This is the first time I will be using the roaming option and I am not sure I fully understand how it works. My plan gives me 15GB of data and I understand I can…

Has ASDA (and others) stopped auto top-up on PAYG?
I was just updating my card details online at the ASDA portal and I can't find anywhere that talks about auto top-up, where you top up (in my case) £5 when balance drops below £1. I can autorenew packs, but that's no good for me, I'm topping up max. every 2mths and the cheapest is £4/mth (calls and texts only). Does anyone…

Buying phone for trade in
I am going to buy a Pixel 9 pro........ they are currently offering over £200 trade in. Unfortunately I don't have one of the phones on the list of eligible devices. The terms say the phone has to be working with no cracked screen. I was thinking of buying a used phone on Ebay for about £25 and using that for the trade…
