Need help choosing the best value contract, SIM-only deal or PAYG?

No £10 refund from THE LINK
I mailed in my old phone in a pre-addressed envelope to a subsidiary (?) of The Link in order to get the £10 refund. They asked for the sales invoice to validate the transaction, which I sent them. (I don't think I kept a copy). This was over 5 weeks ago. What should I do now? (Let this be a warning to potential LINK users)

Went to CPW today as they were due new stock of the 7600, on the poster for the 7600 it said they would only take debit or credit cards for payment.
