Lebara Voicemail
I've recently moved 2 numbers from Plusnet to Lebara. Someone said when they rang my partners phone it just kept ringing and never went to voicemail, I checked and it was the same on my phone. Although voicemail should activate automatically \i had to do it manually by ringing 1211 then 1. People on Lebara might want to…

Lycamobile changing from being an O2 MVNO to an EE MVNO?
There have been lots of reports of Lycamobile customers now finding they have been migrated from using the O2 signal to using the EE signal. I can’t find anything about this other than a cryptic statement that Lyca are changing their network this week. Their website still says O2. So what’s going on? Normally there would…

O2 Classic 123 (activated in Nov 22) deactivated after no regular top up
Posting as an FYI, as O2 Classic 123 SIM cards are (or possibly now were) often recommended as an option for very low usage mobiles. Although they haven't been available from O2 for quite a while, a number of third party market place resellers sell these. Previously the credit didn't expire, so one £10 top could last…

Wifi calling on 1P - solved
May be of use to someone. I have a Nokia 5 and couldn't get wifi calling in rural, patchy coverage area tho it was 'provisioned' by 1P via EE. Spent hours jumping thro the hoops - resetting network settings etc etc. Called them twice 'can't be dealing with every phone etc etc'. Just got a new sim from them, my prev one was…

SIM-only 250mins 250texts 2GB data £1.46/month fixed for 24 months
RWG's new deal for March: SIM-only 250 mins 250 texts 2GB data for 24 months for a £35 one-off payment (£1.46 per month). One-off 30-day add on bundles available if needed. 5p/min 5p/text 1p/MB rate otherwise. Looks like they have replaced their previous £5/£10/£15 pay upfront SIMs with no specified end date (but they…

Who uses Lebara as their main provider?
I'm currently on BT mobile and the 'discounted' price (£5 off for being a broadband customer) is £5.70 per month, with only 1Gb data and no international calls. Moving to Lebara looks to be more economical, but what, if any, are the downsides? Who uses Lebara as their main provider and do you have any problems at all?

SIM ONLY DEALS
I checked out the SIM only deals in the latest newsletter. I'm with Virgin and the link said the deal was only for new customers. So I rang up and said I was leaving, and they gave me the same deal. It's always worth haggling!

Wi-Fi calling and VoLTE now available on Lebara
I’ve just received an email from Lebara confirming that Wi-Fi calling and VoLTE are now available, and the services are being rolled out in phases. I’m apparently one of the first customers to use these features. If you haven’t received notification, you should do very soon.

Vodafone PAYG1 changes
Doesn't seem to have been mentioned here or is MSE news, but this excellent tariff for low/intermittant users is changing for the worse (much worse for some). Used to be 20p/min/text/5Mb, but capped at £1 a day for unlimited mins/texts and 500Mb of data. From Jan it'll be £1 as soon as you use send a text, make a call or…

Lebara SIM only does not work
There are other similar threads on this site on problems with Lebara, but as I still see "MSE Blagged" for the Lebara SIM only deal on https://www.moneysavingexpert.com/cheap-mobile-finder/sim-only/ I'm creating a new thread hoping Money Saving Expert website admins will sort that out. It seems Lebara does not offer a 5G…

O2 Excessive Price Rise
Just to let the forum know that given the above inflation price rises email I received, I waited until near the end of the 30 day period in which I could ditch O2 and I phoned up their customer services. Previously, my wife and I have been diligent and phoned O2 customer serives when we have dropped out of contract, so we…

O2 Price Increase April 2026
Hi all, I'm 11 months into a 24m sim only contract with o2. I would like to get a new handset as I don't think my current one will stretch for another 13months, so I'm thinking I might cancel my current contract and get a handset&airtime contract instead. Can I do this and not have to pay the outstanding balance? I've seen…

'Tighten rules on mid-contract price hikes', Martin Lewis urges Chancellor in new open letter
MoneySavingExpert.com founder Martin Lewis has urged the Chancellor Rachel Reeves to tighten the existing rules over unannounced mid-contract broadband, mobile and pay-TV price hikes in a new open letter. Martin's call for urgent action comes after O2 announced that up to 15.6 million people with mobile and Sim-only…

31.25% April 2026 Price Increase from O2
Hi all, got an email last week from O2 about their annual price rise, which am sure many of you also had. Great wording (not) "From April 2026, your airtime plan will now be increasing by £2.50 instead of £1.80." Main point of this isn't about the £2.50 increase, it's the % it represents of 31.25%! Unsure of the fixed…

RWG terminating all users on e-sim's without warning - zero notice cut off
My partner received a PAC code yesterday out of the blue. Alarm bells started as all the reasons that you look for this happening suggest it's part of "sim swap fraud" so whilst trying to contact RWG, a pointless exercise it seems, she went around changing all her passwords and 2FA contact number. The PAC code wasn't just…

EE retention offer (3 numbers on account)
I've been paying £7.5/month for 16 GB (4G data) for two numbers, and £9/month for 5GB (5G data) for one number. The prices include a 10% additional line discount applied, so the total was £24 per month. I've been out of contract for a while so I called EE CS to lower the price - which they couldn't, so I requested the PACs…

Three + £1 coffee network
Three have an app called three+. They've announced a weekly £1 coffee offer with the £1 coffee network and they refer to their website several times but there is no link. I've googled it but can't find the web site. Can anyone help? Edit: They say go to the web site. What they mean is follow the link in your code "To use…

RWG replied to me in 1 hour
Iv got 2 RWG sims. My main number went down last month for 1 day, then started working again. I forgot about the sim in my spare phone. That 1 was saying emergency calls only. I emailed them and got a auto reply with a ticket ref number. Two weeks later still no reply. I noticed they were replying regually on X. Messaged…

EE Billing Fault
My bill is produced on the 4th of the month and should be visible in My EE from the 5th. But it isn't. After battling through their ridiculous AI Chat, I spoke to a human who told me there is a billing problem and to allow 72hours. They will apparently allow extra time for payment, which I took to mean they'll take the…

RWG Down for me - anybody else?
I'm currently getting 'No service'/'No signal' on my RWG SIM, does anybody else have the same problem? I have another phone with an RWG SIM here which is working fine.
