They were both done within 10 mins of each other. If anyone has had the same experience & knows why,…

Massive premium rises
I heard Martin say that premiums on motor insurance have come down radically. Is it only for motor insurance? The premiums on my home and pet insurance have shot up radically (by nearly 50%) despite never having made a claim. Is this right? I'll certainly be comparing prices while the supposed sweet spot is active.

Home insurance refused.
January this year our house was flooded - approximately £82k damage. 10 months on, still not resolved yet as to which contractor's bid has been accepted. There has been huge delays with feedback from loss adjustors, surveyor and insurance company. My main questions are this - Our policy is due for renewal in November and…

Domestic & General Replacement Cooker - Do I Have To Accept What They Are Offering?
I have a cooker insured with D&G. It developed a fault and so I contacted D&G who arranged for someone from their subcontractor to come and repair it. Motor Non-Fault Recovery Process
Following a small non-fault claim made via my insurer, I am being asked to allow their now appointed solicitor to take action for a recovery against the third party insurer for costs and the excess paid. Buildings insurance for two flats (in terraced house) with two owners
We have been struggling since we purchased our flat in London in 2011 to find cheap buildings insurance. The issue is that we are the 1st floor flat and there is also a ground floor flat (2 flats in total, one above the other) in the same terraced house (both flats own share of freehold), and apparently you can't just…
