Natural Stone tiles etc
I'm just decking out my place...... I highly recommend these guys; http://www.stonehousetiles.co.uk/ Cheap as chips(relatively) and good service. If you find somewhere cheaper, let me know. Most other tiles look cheap and nasty in comparision to real stone, IMO.

Excessive quote ?
Hi, Just got a quote for taking up approximately 16-20 flags in front of the house and relaying them on a morter bed to stop water holding in the low points - £352.50 inc VAT. First off, when he came round the number of flags wasnt 16-20, more like 8-10! In any case, is this an excessive quote ? Im also getting another guy…

Electric Showers
It seems to me that most of the time we criticise company's for their ineptitude, bad or lack of customer service, and the problems we have experienced with them from time to time. 18 months ago I purchased a 'Gainsborough Shower' from B&Q, (6 months out of it's warrenty period) B&Q did not want to know, but gave me the…

Homebase Kitchens 50% off + 10% off
I just thought that I would add this post, as I think I've managed to get quite a good deal from Homebase on my new kitchen. Their current offer is 50% off all kitchens, so the deal wasn't too bad anyway and they are also offering "buy now pay nothing for one year" on kitchens over £1k (which most are these days ::) )…
