Do opticians charge extra if you bring your own frame?
This is something that really bugs me. I go to Specsavers and if I bring my own frame they charge me £40 and they also say they are not responsible if they break the frame. I had an independent optician years ago and didn't charge me if I brought my own frame Do high street opticians charge like Specsavers?

Non diabetic-do u use blood glucose meter
i was wondering about my blood glucose levels for various reasons but I am not diabetic. I bought a sinocare blood glucose meter to test but today noticed my first ‘fasting’ reading was high so did it again straight away and it was to me wildly different from 7.1 the first time to 5.3 the second. I know I can test my meter…

Dentist says I need braces to straighten crown?
Hi all. Went to the dentist about 10 days ago due to a crooked crown on one of the top teeth. He took an x-ray and it came back with no issues. I did mention that it was causing some pain, and that I have to kinda 'whack' the middle of the crown to reduce the discomfort. Apparently it's held by some sort of pin, and over…

Kidney/Gland Issues
I know this isn’t saving money related but my anxiety is through the roof. It all started several weeks ago when I started complaining of stomach, side and lower back pain and the doctor found blood in my urine. I was treated for a UTI & then kidney stones. Several weeks passed and I was sent for a CT scan. Three days…

Reglaze glass at Specsavers
Has anyone had their glass reglazed at Specsavers? Have appointment for an eyetest tomorrow and know my sight has changed. Every year they tell me I need new glasses, I've got so many old pairs, it's such a waste and expensive. So I want to be ready for when they try to sell me a new pair.

Razors for Women (Teens)
Random present I know, but my daughter has been using my Gillette Fusion 5 razor (only the stem, she uses her own blade!), but I figured I might as well get her one for herself. I've always used the mens' one just because I thought it was cheaper, but are they any good women's ones out there that I can get her for a…

Where do you get your face masks from?
Hi there Where do you guys get your face masks from? Do Tesco or Aldi sell any IN THE SHOP rather than on line? I think Aldi has sold out but it's difficult to tell.
