Anyone recognise this tool?
I found this in the greenhouse yesterday, and I wondered if anyone knows what it is? It's got a bit of a u-shaped bend, and is slightly forked at the bottom. I should have cleaned it before taking the photo, really. Might not be garden-related, of course, I've just presumed it is because of where I found it.

Cleaning up Dog Urine
Hoping this is the right section? Does anyone have a good recommendation for what I can clean dogs urine up with? Hosing away isn’t going to work as the area is a shared flagstone yard and many sections is now green with urine. PS ; Not my dogs, another user of the shared yard who doesn’t clean up. What to plant now in the garden for instant colour?
I really want to add some instant colour to our garden. What’s a good thing to plant at this time of year, please? We have been to the garden centre and planted primulas and pansies, and they seem to be surviving the very cold weather. The plan is also to put in some early bulbs, if I can still dig into the soil. Any other…

Conifers and bulbs?
I put 2 dwarf conifers in each pot and planted bulbs around. Just dawned on me, will the conifer roots 'poison' the soil and stop the bulbs growing? Anyone know? Thanks.

Best tree for sloped front lawn?
Our front garden, lawn is very open and my other half wants some kind of tree to break up the openness without making it private enough for sinister people to mess with our windows. Advice on getting condition into top soil please.
Morning. Since moving to this house I've been trying to make a garden from what was originally gravel and concrete. Getting there bit by bit and most recently bought some top soil locally which I've used for raised beds. However it is very solid and I need both to lighten it and to introduce some organic matter. It's not…

Rough cost to have a tree removed
Hi all, we've just moved into a house and much as it pains me to say it, there's tree which I think will need to be removed. It's a spruce, about 25ft tall, isn't in the best health and is growing at an odd angle. With the prevailing winds it will take down our fence and land on the area where a neighbour parks their cars…

Help me identify this conifer please
Hello gardeners, Could you please help me figure out what this conifer is? It’s about 10 years old, 6 foot tall and 4 foot diameter. Hi, we are in the process of organising a front garden make over and would appreciate any recommendations for a small ornamental tree that we could plant.
