New Minimum rate of pay
The company I work for have decided that they will pay us at the new rate of pay from the 7th April as that's when there new financial year starts, can they do this? surly if the government set a date that's when we should be paid from? we are hourly/4 weekly paid is that makes a difference? any advise would be welcome

Hi wonder if anyone can offer advice. I’m on a zero hours contract and have now discovered that I’m below the monthly threshold that my employers need to start contributing. I have looked into NI credits but don’t fit the criteria. I’m in my 60’s and have recently had to reduce my work hours due to health issues.
