Are debts ever written off?
I just wondered whther anybody knew if debts are ever written off after a certain amount of time. I'm sure I heard that if a debt collection agency hadn't been in contact for 4 years they could no longer chase the debt - in effect it had to be written off?? Or have I just made that up?? :confused: I am all of a sudden…

Advice pls
I have a few credit cards with small balances on ie coming down slowly with a long term apr of 3.9% and 6.9%. I have some others on standard rates varies from 11 - 13 %.
