Where am I going wrong?
OH gets paid weekly for 50 weeks of the year. Doesn't get paid for 2 weeks over Christmas. I have totalled our monthly direct debits, rounded them up, multiplied them by 12 and divided by 50. This month we didn't have enough to pay the direct debits. Where am I going wrong? I am awful at maths, truly awful.

Given a Second Chance. My debt-free journey begins!
Hi All, A little back story about myself. I have been in overdraft debt for the best part of four years. Primarily it has been just down to the fact I have been irresponsible with my money and buying things I didn't need. Last year I rented my first place with my partner. We managed to scrape together a deposit and have…

Changing Bad Habits!
My debt doesnt seem that big compared to some, but for me, its more of my bad money habits that I need help with. Just come off a serious discussion with my husband…

This feels like groundhog day!
So as you will see from my badges etc. There was a time (2 years ago) I was debt free. Despite that number on all of my CC statements, loans etc reaching 0. It turns out I didn't really deal with the fact that I am crap with money at all. I've lived in a bit of a bubble for two years. So much has changed since I was debt…

Puddleduck's Adventures
Well hello there. Little background to my story. We have not been in debt for about 10 years. We saved and had a nice life. We decided to sell our home and buy an older house in a more rural area, this is where the problems started! All our savings and now our massive debt has all been to renovate this house. SO much more…

Getting out a hole
right, I think its time to admit it. I'm in debt, this is not through all my fault. My partner used my credit rating to take debt out and didn't pay it back. I am going to start off by saying that this is the start of my journey to be debt free (or at least more debt free than I already am) The amount I am in debt is…
