Workers demotivated by executives' high pay
http://www.theguardian.com/business/2015/dec/18/workers-demotivated-by-executives-high-pay-survey Strange concept if you ask me. During my 35+ years career, I have not once thought about what others (including my superiors) earn. Not once. None of my business and I couldn't care less. My motivation came out of job…

The Bezier building stands right in the middle of London's Old Street area, one of the most expensive and fashionable parts of the UK. Flats inside the…

London house prices set to double in 10 years
Looks like yearly 7% HPI will be happening in London for a very long time. http://uk.businessinsider.com/latest-uk-and-london-house-price-data-2015-12 I think I'm right in saying which point London prices will be close to 4x elsewhere. If you move out just be prepared to never come back.

BOE to get new regulatory powers over BTL
Surprised to see this hasn't been posted up already. Maybe it's best not mentioned!? Some seem to be suggesting we could be seeing BTL borrowers having to show that the rental income will be 150% of the mortgage. We could also see the minimum deposit raised to 40%. Fantastic if it works.…

Inflation Soars....
....to 0.1%. Probably no need for an emergency MPC meeting this month. http://www.ons.gov.uk/ons/dcp171780_427182.pdf I still reckon that interest rates will be going up pretty soon, assuming the Fed continues tightening into 2016. Base rates to be neutral should be ~2% at the moment.
