Bailiffs for Previous Owner and Credit Score
I've been receiving bailiff letters for the previous owner of my property and was wondering if this would impact in any way on my credit score? It appears that his car is still registered to my address, and as I have been returning all post to sender he has not received or paid for a parking ticket/congestion charge fee…

Hi, I have just checked my credit report and noticed a late payment on there from 2011. satisfied default loan options and 6 years almost up
Hi all, I have searched the net coming up with a MSE page that im not allowed to link to but it pretty much answers my question, I just wondered about this 6 year default thing? I take it the default is registered for 6 years from the date of adding and not from the date of satifying the debt? What happens when that time…

Understanding linked addresses
Just trying to understand how linked addresses work. When a lender carries out a search, are reports created for each linked address? i.e. if some accounts were settled while you were at first address. Or, are all existing/previous accounts aggregated and show in a single search at your current address only.

Best way to correct flat number / finding where wrong one came from?
I just moved and an incorrect flat number has shown up on my equifax report. What's the best way to fix it? Post / Email / phone / web? Are there any magic words I need to use for it to get through to the right department / make them do the right thing? I guess I'll likely have to do the same with all three. Will they tell…

Defaults/"Bad Credit" Credit Cards
Hi all, I am almost 23yo with 2 defaults on my credit report, one which says it will be reported until September 2016 with both Callcredit and Equifax, and another which says September 2016 with Callcredit and July 2017 with Equifax. Does this mean that I will have to wait until July 2017 to have good credit again? Or…

Available credit impact
What impact, if any, does available credit have on your credit file? Over two credit cards and two overdrafts, I have £10900 of very rarely used credit. Is it worth ditching one card and one overdraft?

Confused which agency to use?
Hi, Although I try to remember to cancel and close credit card accounts once repaid, I am not 100% certain that I always have in the past. Is there an easy way to find out what credit is still open in my name? I took a quick look at Experian but the reviews of this company and their 'free trial' (reviewcentre.com) has put…
