Adding Funds To Exceed Credit Limit On Credit Card.
I wish to purchase something that is more that the credit limit on my credit card. Is it fine to add the required extra funds to my credit card prior to the purchase, so I can purchase the item and not exceed my credit limit. If so, then will I still receive the added protection that a credit card purchase provides? Thank.

MBNA credit card
Has anyone been stung by MBNA's credit card offering 18 months interest free then the small print says only applicable to purchases made in first 60 days? I have been heavily stung by this. They did not make it explicit and it all seems like a hoax to me. Am I just stupid?

Time to replace Amex?
Anyone else struggling with their Amex? More and more places seem to be boycotting the Amex and it's driving me a bit bonkers so I'm looking to replace with another reward credit card - but most recommended are Amex, or require a new bank account which I'm not keen to do. Any suggestions for best non-Amex rewards cards?

I pay £260 a month towards a car pcp and have 2 and a half years left to pay. I obviously pay interest on these payments. Is it possible to pay off the remaining £13000 I owe using a 0% interest credit card and then slowly pay off the amount this way?

I need some advice. I've got a guy doing some building work for me and I need to pay him £2,200. Barclay Card Reward Card - decline/acceptance

Yesterday, after getting Martin's email…
