Sainsbury Card
Used my Sainsbury Card in Tescos yesterday. On the Tesco bill there's a paragraph saying they have added a 2.5% handling charge to the cost of the items. Did a quick addition but it all added up correctly. Anyone know if there is a 2.5% handling charge in Tescos when a Sainsbury card is being used there.

How long to wait after settling card?
I am about to settle my Egg card but will leave it open to make use of the anniversary offer and SBT facilities. I plan to apply for the Lloyds TSB 12 month 0% but am wondering how long to leave it before it will show on my credit record. I have a few other 0% deals also at the moment so don't want to push things too hard

There's no mention of "paying off" overdrafts or interest free credit card…

MBNA (will give anyone a card!)
Well for all those of you who are wondering which company gives out cards the easiest.....the winner without doubt is MBNA. My 21 year old mentally disabled son was with my ex-husband in Glasgow airport when he was stopped by a canvasser and offered a credit card. My son couldn't answer the questions asked (and it would…

AMEX DROPPING CASHBACK RATES
Just been tipped off Amex is dropping cashback rates on Blue and Platinum cards. No need to worry as it isn't happening just yet (Oct), I've had a scan on the new rates and they're not disasterous, still topping the table for most things. I will update my article in the next few days (when i've finished balance transfers)…

Card Protection Policy renewal – are they worth it
I’m starting to think if this policy is worth it. I have never ever used it and it has been increasing each and every year currently £16 per year with Barclaycard, covers the whole family though. Does anyone know of any cheaper policy’s out there? Are they really worth it? The T&C’s probably wouldn’t cover any normal event…

2nd Barclaycard
I currently have a Barclaycard Visa with quite a high (unused) limit. I requested (via my account) an accompanying Barclaycard Mastercard, as I thought it would be useful to have a Mastercard as well as a Visa. BC wrote to me offering the MC, but it would not be with a separate credit limit. Instead, I would need to…

Urgent: Credit/Debit Card Purchase Insurance

How the heck can they afford to do this when for example Dixons…
