Credit card scammers - warning!
Perhaps no sensible person on here would ever fall for this scam, but I did, so I'm going to share what happened in case it helps someone. I could never understand how people could be caught out by dodgy phone calls and give away banking details over the phone, so I've always assumed something is a scam unless there is…

Warning: MBNA 0% for 22 Months credit card.
This was entirely my fault, but in case anyone else sometimes fails to read the small-print then the 22 month interest free offer from MBNA is not entirley what it seems. So when you see the following.... ...you may (fairly reasonably) expect to be able to make purchases on the card for 22 months @ 0% interest. But that's…

Really chuffed!

Nationwide ends cashback on Select credit card
I've received an email from Nationwide this morning advising me of changes to the Select credit card from 1 December. The only notable change is that cash rewards are ending. I'm not surprised, and it was only 0.25% anyway, but it was better than nothing.

Anyone else had their Creation credit card cancelled without explanation?
For the past 8-10 years I've been the happy user of a Creation credit card which I took out because, at the time, it offered foreign currency transactions without the usual 2.75-3% exchange fee (and thank you again Martin & team for alerting me to it way back then). I've always paid the card off in full every month, and to…

Barclaycard finally on Google Wallet
Today I received a replacement Barclaycard Visa Cashback Card (still on the old 0.5% cashback offer), thought I'd try adding to Google Wallet - and wow, it actually worked!!!! After adding it, I had an email from Barclaycard saying it had been activated successfully. Quite amazed it putting it lightly. I was ready to ditch…

Credit cards - there is hope
I've been in debt for years at >20%, always paying slightly over the minimum & throwing whatever I could at it here & there. I've not been able to get 0% BTs for years. Then a couple of weeks back one of my cards offered me a 0% balance transfer so I figured something must've changed. I went onto MSE eligibility checker &…

any other similar company. My partner has had a Creation

partner puts about £1000 to £1500 a month on the card and pays the entire

Zopa CC (if you’re considering one)
Hi all, Just thought I’d share my initial experience of Zopa and their app/CC application. I decided to download their app so I could open a smart saver, I like the idea of the pots and boosted rates (let’s hope they actively increase rates in line with the BoE BR change!). Upon downloading the app and setting up savings…
