Knitted strap for baby bonnet
I have just knitted a baby bonnet and want to put a knitted strap in garter stitch with buttonholes to attach to the buttons either side of hat. As I don't have a baby head available I am lost as to the length it should be. The bonnet round face is 12 inches.

Pens for writing on glass permanently
Can anyone recommend a pen that I could buy so I can draw / write on glass permanently - and it be preferably dishwasher proof? I want to draw levels on a wine glass so that I don't have to get the measuring jug - you can buy these glasses but at £20+ a time I'm hoping to be very mse about it!

Where can I buy fabric scraps from?
Does anyone know where to buy cheap fabric scraps from (small off cuts etc) as I am making sensory blankets for my work and struggling to find small scraps of different materials to sew on. Online the majority I have found are "designer" fabrics and too costly. Anyone have any ideas?
