SEISS Claim Question 'do you intend to keep trading in 2021 to 2022'
One of the questions in the 4 SEISS claim forms was 'do you intend to keep trading in 2021 to 2022' My honest answer on all four claims was 'yes'. However, my sole-trader work had now trickled to nothing and I feel I will have to take a PAYE job. Am I likely to be penalised? My intention was always to keep trading but…

Cash refund for cancelled Wizz Air flight
Hi all, we had a flight booked with Wizz Air for later this month, however, Wizz Air moved both our outbound and return flights by multiple days, effectively cancelling them. They offered the standard options of accepting the new flights or rebooking on other flights on the same route with strict date restrictions, none of…

Indian batch of Astra Zeneca vaccine
Hi I have read a couple of articles about how EU countries won't accept a certificate of vaccination if one of them was from some specific batches that had been produced by an EU unregistered company in India. Of course, one of the people I would plan to fly with has had one of their vaccinations from one of these batches.…

Day 2 test - return from Green country
There appears to be some confusion over whether the day 2 test needs to be a PCR one or can a LFD suffice. UK govt website does not require specifically a PCR on Day 2 so why are posters writing otherwise?

So, kind of opposite to most questions on this topic... My workplace are saying nobody can return to the office (if they can work from home) until January next year. My question is, if the government change advice to remove the "work from home" guidance, can companies continue to (indefinitely) force people to work from…
