Help with passenger locator form
Just tried to sign up on the government passenger locator form but entered my home phone number and so can't receive a verification code. I can't change it either. Is there a help number to call and correct this? UPDATE: Problem solved. Registration is not required.

Day 2 Provider Experience
Return from Cancun on 12/08. Both jabbed and will have tests before arrival as required. Any experience of day 2 providers? And does the PLF gather the test booking details or do you need to provide separate documents to border control on arrival? Has anyone used VeriFLY? Maybe Butts has some input here?

Day 2 and 8 testing
Hi all. Really appreciate some clear directions here. I am confused about the day 2 and 8 testing after arrival back to the UK. I am going to Athens and will take a test there before flying back. But how do I book my day 2 and 8 tests after my arrival in the UK? I am double vaccinated. Do I purchase the tests before I…

SEISS 5 Elibility
Can you claim SEISS 5 having started as an ST in April 2020? This extract suggests you can but other areas of the information contradict this. If you started or ceased a business in 2020 to 2021 You should include the turnover received between April 2020 and April 2021, even if this covers less than 12 months. If you have…

SEISS 5 - Affected by covid, but turnover increased
in 18/19 and 19/20, I chose to work less for personal reasons, but still traded at a small profit. in 20/21, my turnover and profit both increased significantly over the pervious 2 years, but were substantially affected by covid (I would have made a lot more sans covid, rate of pay was affected). Am I right in…

Antigen test in London (not home-kit) to travel to Italy
I'll fly to Italy next Saturday. New rules will come into effect on that day but being Italy I assume they'll be announced on Friday at 23:59 so I can only plan based on the current rules. So I need to do an antigen lateral flow test within 48 hours before arrival. I guess home kits are not accepted otherwise people would…

Love Holidays - no credit voucher hours after my friend was given one
On Thursday evening, me and my sister began showing symptoms of Covid so we could not go on our holiday on Friday. Friends who booked separately from us, with Love Holidays, also decided not to go on the same holiday 4 hours earlier, and they were able to click on Manage My Booking and move their holiday. 4 hours later,…

Advised to self isolate for different days when met together
My friend and sister met up with at a cafe. This was friend’s only trip out that week as WFH plus too hot to do much. Her sister (also WFH) only went to pharmacy to collect son’s prescriptions the day after. This was only for 5 mins. Their OHs work outside home as a mechanic and National Grid. Friend and sister both got…

I have been pinged
Hi, Probably a silly question, but an annoying one non the less. I'm a full time carer for my hubbys parents, as he works full time and long hours so it was decided ages ago for me to take on the roll of caring for them, which is everything from washing them to getting their shopping, I also help a close neighbour too. But…

Supermarket workers pinged
Could someone tell me if all supermarket workers are exempt from self isolating if they are pinged and double jabbed? Different media sources say just the depot workers are exempt. If this the case, it’s should be all workers in supermarkets. As need delivery drivers to take the food etc to the supermarkets. Then…

Travel Trolley threat of legal action
I booked flights to J’burg in Jan 2020, for travel in Nov 2020 with Etihad via Travel Trolley. The flights were cancelled so I asked for a refund, TT tried not to initially give me one, just a credit note, but I persevered and got it in writing from Etihad that I was indeed entitled to one. But obviously had to get it from…

UK break - does any travel insurance cover curtailment due to being asked to self-isolate??
Have read Martin's guide to travel insurance but every relevant policy seems to just say they cover cancellation due to being asked to self-isolate before you leave home, or having to cut short the holiday due to getting covid (or loved one dying etc). I am most worried about losing half the holiday because of being told…

Italy’s approach to Indian batch of Astrazeneca vaccine
There has been some uncertainty regarding the EU digital vaccine certificate in relation to 5 million or so Brits That had one of the three Indian batches for Astrazeneca. I fall into that category, and I cannot get to the bottom of whether Italy are accepting the certificate where it is one of the Indian batches - I know…

Holiday Insurance when postponing booking due to Covid restrictions
I am struggling to get my head around overseas travel insurance when I have to keep postponing my trip to the following year, there must be thousands in the same situation. We were due to go to Kefalonia in May 2020 and took out a single trip policy for a couple at around £25. Because of Covid we didn't go and postponed…
