Help with a Santander Account
My father is elderly and sometimes forgets when he has used his card to draw out cash from the local post office. He receives a paper statement from Santander once a month but we could do with checking between statements just as a fail safe. That's where we hit a problem. He is hard of hearing and therefore phone calls are…

Hi. My monzo app is trying to access my personal info over 300 times a day. It is being passed to 3 external companies. There is no opt out. I use duckduckgo as a browser and it blocks the attempts. The chase banking app does the same. Meta has been fined for a similar practice. I dont expect banks to monetise my info

Paralyzed by low Faster Payments limits
Is anyone else feeling paralysed by ridiculously low limits on Faster Payments? Almost all UK banks seem to impose limits of £25,000 per day for online payments, which makes it impractical when moving around larger sums of money. For example, I want to take advantage of high interest instant access savings accounts, and…

Chase debit card not recognised as a Mastercard Debit Card.
Hello, I've had a few issues with the Chase debit card over the last two years. On a few occasions it has outright not been accepted by payment systems. Intelligent Finance (IF) and their savings jars
Intelligent Finance (IF) has given notice that it is closing all current accounts. I expect most people moved over from IF years ago (IF was told to make way for the new "challenger" banks - Monzo, Starling, Revolut, Metro Bank, etc). IF had savings jars, or pots, that one could pay into, to accumulate money in designated…
