Barclays business bank account od removed with no notice
Hi, I have a longstanding business account with barclays and we have an agreed overdraft. We use the overdraft when we have a large project running for cashflow and it's never delinquent. We are currently just under a third of the overdraft balance. Our bank account was frozen on weds, it was their error and we managed to…

Anyone know what 25togo is?
I've had a payment paid referring to '25togo' into my bank account, crazy thing is it references my wife's name against it. My wife hasn't sent me anything, nothing has come from her accounts she's checked. I can't find anything about this 25togo apart from something to do with a type of handbag, a mystery.

Santander free forever bank account changes
Just got a letter in the post that Santander are changing my business account to £9.99 a month. I've had it a very long time and remember Santander trying this move before only to be told they can't because the original sign up material pushed it as being free forever. Does anyone have any thoughts?

Nationwide - Lost £440 Payment
Hello I was wondering if anyone can advise me on what to do please, I withdrew £440 from ‘Britain’s biggest bingo site’ (not sure if I’m allowed to name them T******) late at night on the 14th June 2025, and the next day when I woke up on my front screen notifications it said Nationwide ‘ £440 T****** ‘ approved ‘ .When I…

Fare Share Qualifying Conditions Other Nationwide Accounts
Hi All, Here's one to watch out for. I have qualifying accounts for the fair share and have enough money being paid into the account from a client. I wasn't aware that the client was paying from a Nationwide account and wouldn't know how to check this but this made my fair share payment void. I only knew why because I…

When do Cheques Clear
I recently paid a cheque into my Nat West Personal account on line. A few days later the cheque had cleared and my account had been credited. I acted on it being cleared. A full day later Nat West reversed the payment and debited my account. Can they do this?

how does switching affect my credit score?
Having just learnt of the insane salary boost that may go to the Nationwide group's ceo, I've determined to work harder to get what I can back. A good place to start might be to get as many of the sweeteners offered by banks to switch accounts. But then I read to my annoyance that by doing so, my credit score could be…

Nat West Bank Account-Clarification Questions
Not clear on whether the £1250 that needs to be paid is a one off payment to qualify for the £125 payment (I know it can be made up of several payments) or do you then need to continue to pay £1250 every month. Martin Lewis website states £1250 per month. Again, not sure if this applies to the Reward account or the Select…

Barclays appalling "Customer Service"
I found a message which exactly matched my issue and then lost it!! Both the Barclays app and online have lost all but one of my payee details. First phone call to outsourced Customer Service as the other person said, "Advisor" didn't have a clue, language barrier, and didn't make any notes. Tried to update some details…

Hi, I tried to apply online and was flatly denied, no reason given. After many calls to nationwide the only thing I can find out is that it is related to an application refusal code rd24. NatWest reward account - how quickly can I take the 1250 payment out?
Can any NatWest rewards regulars in here answer a question? You have to pay in 1250 a month to qualify for rewards, but does it have to stay in for 24 hours like it does when doing their switch bonus, or can it go out again same day?
