Sainsbury's Card
I applied for a Sainsbury's Card, but when it arrived - apart from having a much higher APR than advertised, but I understand that's fairly normal - the small print said that the 0% for 12 months only applies to Sainsbury's purchases. It's on my credit file anyway, so I went along with that, but I am very annoyed. Has this…

What do you do when you run out of cards?
I don't know how many are available, but... I have the Tesco card - that's almost maxed at 2.25k, which lasts 12 month. I took out an AA card which has a limit of 2.8k which lasts 10months. You keep going, you keep getting cards & either keep maxing or the time expires. Some you get, some you get refused for & before long…

Mortgage Stooze
I know there's a few threads dealing with this subject but I thought I'd see whether anyone has any success/horror stories with this particular tactic. I'm 1 month into the 12months interest free period for purchases on a Barclaycard Platinum. I called their customer services last night to check whether a mortgage payment…

American Express Cashback Con
Hi, Just to warn everyone... I set-up an American Express Platinum credit card back in 2008 and received my cashback rewards 1 year later. However, I have just noticed that my cashback for 2009/10 has been forfeit by AmEx as I had not reached their new "cashback earned" limit. Apparently the T&C's have changed, so you now…

What protection do I have if I purchased fake concert tickets
I bought some concert tickets from a scam site, the credit card company initially declined the transaction but allowed it to go through after I confirmed it was me buying the tickets. They assured me there were no issues with the merchant. I have contacted them but say I can do nothing until the point (middle of next year)…

Egg Money Methods
Hi Folks, Been lurking here and at stoozing.com for nearly a week now building up my knowledge on stoozing and about to give it a go.
