Can I stooze with my loan ??
Can someone confirm my thinking please? I understand this is not for everybody and involves being on the ball but my thinking is this.... I have a flexible loan of £9k, It's not zero percent so I am not thinking of doing the same as the 0% cards (I'm on low income so chances of getting another credit card in…

MBNA/Virgin cheques clarification please.
Howdy stoozers:D Please can any of you clarify the following: I've received cheques from my Virgin card that currently has a £0 balance. They're offering 1.9% for 7 months if I use the cheques. But I'm unsure if I would still have to pay the 3% cheque fee. The wording on the back is 'cheques are subject to a fee of 3%…

Card applications for stoozing?
I am interested in stoozing, however at the minute I have no cards to do so. I have noticed Martin's advice to spread out card applications? If I apply for 1 card today, how long should I wait to apply for another? Can anyone help?

2 Balance Transfers on 1 Card??
Hi, Im fairly new to this 'stoozing' business but recently I finally got round to changing my credit card from an extortionate Barclaycard one that I have had for 5 years or so and changed it to an RBS card with 0% for 12 months. On the application I BT'd roughly £600 from my Barclaycard to the RBS and they gave me a £4500…

No Mule Card
Although I have a Egg Credit card I was refused an Egg Money card about 3 months ago and I need one to get hold of some stoozing money. I read on one of the other threads that Virgin Money is the same as Egg money, is this correct. I also wondered whether it would be possible to balance transfer to one of these new prepaid…

Employment status - PPI
Hi, I am new here and would be grateful if anyone would have the answer to my query?? My partner has an MBNA credit card and pays PPI. He has his own small business but is positioned as director of his company (limited by shares) I don't think he should be paying PPI as ultimately, he is employed by his own business (if…

Egg Money advantage?
My first post so excuse me if I'm a bit thick! I don't see the advantage of raising a cash loan using Egg Money card as a 'mule'. It seems to me that you still pay a balance transfer fee to get money onto the Egg Money card. Surely roughly the same fee applys if you transfer from an Egg or Post Office Credit Card, direct…

i've been refused a EGG Money card SHould i apply for a Virgin card now
I have in the past been a little unwise with my credit. To that end i now have a debt management plan in place with the CCS. Withdrawing Stoozed Cash from Egg Money
OK, so far so good. I have managed to transfer £5k of stooze cash from Barclaycard to Egg Money. Yet I don't appear to have an option to withdraw the money from the Egg Money account online. Should there be an option online or will I need to phone them and ask me to send a cheque to get the money out? Thanks

What next for me - help please!
Hi all, I haven't fully got into stoozing as yet, the only thing I have done is request a balance transfer from MBNA 0% 12 months, 3% fee and then put it in my bank account. What is the best card now for me, I want to borrow the money, then transfer it to a current account and spend/save as I wish. Any ideas on the best…

Virgin Money Stooze
Hi . Just wanted to check something with the more experienced stoozers out there. Heres the facts. Just started my stooze on a Virgin Money card with 15 months 0% with a CL of £9k. I have therefore BTed £8300. I chose this amount in order that the amount BTed and the fee is slightly less than the 95% of the CL (£8550). I…

Break Even Point on BT fees
Having been looking at this over the last few days the only risk I can see assuming that you follow the golden rules of never using your stoozing cards and always paying the minimum amount by direct debit is if you have to for whatever reason pay back the outstanding BT amount to the credit card provider urgently. There…

Upping credit limits & applying for more cards
I've had an Egg visa for years - never owing more than £500. Today got my Virgin OK but they will only let me have 6K. BTed what I could to bank account - BTW all shockingly easy for a man who has lost a few quid gambling on spreadbetting shares (hmm, the market has plunged - maybe if I use the 6K to bet on it going…

Maximising the number of cards
Hi all again, If you are married can you maximise the amount of cards you can use to stooze by applying for 2 cards from 1 company. For example one for yourself and one for your wife. Obviously applying as seperate individuals or do card compaines track the number of cards to an individual address for example. Cheers

Balance Transfer Fee V's Offset Mortgage
Hi could anyone help me with this question? I have tried to use the stoozing calculator to work out how much money I could save by stoozing 10K with a 3% balance transfer fee to pay. However as the money would go into my Offset Mortgage and not a Savings account, I'm not sure what calculation to use to work out…

Ideal Egg Money credit limit?
Helping someone else set up their stooze now that I'm converted. They've just been given a decent credit limit on their Egg Money card. My initial reaction was to suggest they reduce this to free up potential credit limits on other cards. Then I wondered how that would look if they were going to do a BT to the Egg Money…
