3 Questions
First question; If I want to find out if a loan company sold my debt on or just passed it on to a credit recover company, do they have to tell me they sold it when I ask? Second question. If my debt was sold on, do I have to ask both companys for the relevant statements that they hold? Third question. If the debt was just…

Hi Guy's, Can anyone offer any advice on this please. I have a debt of 7k on a Virgin CC paying some huge interest rate. I've told Cahoot to get stuffed !!
Like many on this board I've been ripped off by Cahoot's recent rate rises to 19.95% for their flexible loan rates. I'm unable to move my loan as I no longer live in the UK and I don't earn enough to borrow where I live anyway. Anyway, after following every avenue of complaint with Cahoot and Abbey I've cancelled my direct…

Martin's advice stops at £20k..?
As far as I can see there is a black 'loans' hole between all the advice given by Martin which seems to stop at £15-20k and a mortgage which seems to start at £40-50k. Where do I go if I want, say, a loan of £25-30k? Is anything available around 7%?

Anyone else had problems with the SLC?
I'm finding them a pain. They say they will call back they don't. When you are in correspondance with them they send you letters from debt collection companies. The questions you ask them they don't answer and then they say they'll pass your letter onto another department and they will respond yet they don't. I'm sick of…
