Shower partition removal
Hi, we've recently moved house, and the bathroom is lovely except for a shower partition which has been "cemented" to the bath. This makes it awkward to get in the bath, and to clean it, as well as it being impossible to reach round and start the shower off before getting into the bath! We've decided on a curtain, to go…

New Kitchen
Hi Peeps I am planning on replacing my kitchen units/doors/sink/worktops etc in the near future and was wondering who is the best value for money. We'll be using our existing appliances and I will probably end up fitting the units myself. Getting someone in to do the worktops/electrics. This will depend on how much it will…

as is the way in our house, we tend to have a run of "needing" to replace things, unfortunately this week in addition to needing new mattresses for the kids beds, my much loved and extremely well used Tumble Dryer has decided that it doesn t want to heat up any longer. Replacing a bathroom suite
We're thinking of replacing our old bathroom suite, but wanting to do it as cheaply as possible. It seems like you can buy a new suite fairly reasonably, but then it costs a packet to get it fitted. So, we're thinking of doing it ourselves. We're both reasonable at DIY, but haven't really attempted plumbing. Is it…

Replacement tap covers
Dunno if tap covers is the right term ... my new place has good taps but the valve things you turn on and off look a bit cheap and plastic. I'd like to replace with something more stylish. Is this possible, or do I need to replace the whole tap? If it's possible, any supplier recommendations?

Storage Headache, Please help!!
My girlfriend and I have been struggling with our very small flat and the complete lack of storage that goes with it. However shelves in most cases seem to help except in one place. Heating nightmare - help?
Hello all, This has been a bit of a saga, so apologies for length... I moved into a new flat about 6 months ago. No heating worries at all. It came with a working Vokera 24e Maxin combi boiler and plenty of working radiators. Fine. Grand. The system was 4 years old and worked like a trooper all winter long. However, about…
