Rob Way & CCA request - they returned my £1!
Hi, I sent a CCA request to R. Way and on the same day they received it they sent a letter back to me: it contained a really shoddy photocopied document which had a tick in a box and a handwritten note saying 'documents have been requested' and they returned my £1 postal order. Do I now just wait to see what turns up next?…

Hi there, I was hoping for some advice about a credit card debt. My husband has had a debt management plan with BoS for 9 years, paying £6 per month on a £3000 debt. The account defaulted in October 2008, so it no longer shows on his credit report. We have tried to settle in the past but BoS will only accept 75% of the…

Sat/Sun 31 jan and 1 Feb 2015. What small DFW stuff will you do today?
:) :):) When we start out on the DFW trail we do loads of "big stuff" that makes quite a difference to our situation. These include having our lightbulb moment, cutting up the credit cards and cancelling Sky and the gym But once we have done the bigger stuff, we often feel that we are not making the same amount of…

CCJ, When does the Statute Barred period begin?
I received a CCJ claim form with issue date 5th January 2015 earlier this month. It is for an amount of £575.26 and is owed to "Shop Direct Finance Company" for a catalogue account opened in 2008. I have managed to find an old debt letter that I had kept which states the credit agreement date was the 19th October 2008.…

Hello all, this is my first ever post so please please be gentle with me. I currently have an agreed overdraft of £2200, which for the last year I have lived in to one degree or another. Old Debt
I completed my trust deed in March 2014. A few months ago, I received a letter from Eurudio (sp?) asking for payment for an old student loan. As this was from 1997, I wrote back to them believing it to be statute barred. I haven't heard anything back until today a citation was delivered to my door. It states that a decree…
