Missing Debit Card Repayment
Hi, I did a bit of matched betting over Cheltenham and found myself with £1K+ in my Exchange Account. I withdrew my balance to my Debit Card, linked to my Current Account and now 17 days later, my money is nowhere to be seen. I have lost track of the number of phone calls and e-mails to both my Bank and the Betting…

Santander: Cancelled Card
My debit card was declined in a local supermarket at 2:15pm today - luckily, I had enough cash to pay. When I called Santander to ask why, they said that they'd cancelled it as some perp had used it at 4:50am to buy an O2 top-up. I'm puzzled as to why I couldn't have been informed automatically, as soon as the card was…

I know…

First Direct withdraws Current Account
With all of the hype that normally surrounds First Direct I'm surprised that hasn't been any comments or notification, on the forum, that they have withdrawn access to their current account for new customers. This is said to be only temporary during the coronavirus problem so they can concentrate on serving existing…

TSB login changed
Previously you had to enter ID and password on the first screen, then 3 characters from the memorable word on the second screen. Now you enter ID only on the first screen, then password and 3 characters on the second. This seems a rather pointless change and it will break some auto login sequences. But worse than that they…
